For WomenLift’s annual Women Leaders in Global Health Conference, Newsworthy.Studio was commissioned to design the ‘Spotlight Series: South Asia’, a multimedia storytelling campaign profiling four South Asian trailblazers—women who have made their mark in the space of health and gender rights in the region.

A multimedia storytelling campaign showcasing stories and pathways of four incredible women leaders from the Global South
The scope of work included identifying, reaching out and interviewing the women leaders, and then making the storytelling campaign more accessible and engaging through text pieces and pop art, which was further used as social media amplifiers. Held during the Covid-19 pandemic, our multimedia campaign highlighted the pathways, successes, failures and passions of the South Asian women, with the goal to underline the role of public health communication and diversity in leadership, and to inspire other women to kick start their leadership journeys.
