Newsworthy.Studio was commissioned to create impact assessment documentaries to spotlight strides made in flood mitigation, adaptation and capacity building by the Bihar government through the Bihar Kosi Flood Recovery project supported by the World Bank and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

Qualitative Impact Assessment Through Films

Through interviews with citizens, flood monitoring agencies, ministers, state government officials we mapped how a holistic approach to flood management brought resilience and transformed the region. These impact assessment documentary films were produced in Hindi and English, providing valuable insights into how businesses, agriculture, and schools have thrived in the face of recurrent floods.
